Welcome back, bakers! The Billion Dollar Bake Sale team has cooked up one last recipe to advocate for more public school funding in Washington State, and we need your help!
The #ThanksForTheDough campaign is a way for parents, students, educators, and community members to voice our support and gratitude for the *new* wealth tax proposals, and our wealthiest neighbors and businesses who will be funding our public schools if these new taxes are approved. Positive messaging could increase receptivity to new taxes!
Would you please do a short video clip ๐ Videos will be compiled (thanks to coalition partner Washington Education Association) and be sent to our state decision-makers to urge them to pass progressive taxes to Fund Our Schools! We also will post them on social media to raise awareness.
